Caterpillar Financial is currently seeking candidates for contract job opportunities, in our Customer Accounts and Customer Relations Departments. Job roles cross many business functions, see details below. This is a great opportunity to get training and exposure to a company currently ranked #62 on the Fortune 500 list. Workers are also eligible to apply for full-time positions after eleven weeks.

 

Timeframe: Full-time (40 hrs/week) with some potential for overtime or flexible work (time off) as needed. Start dates will begin in December, with end dates varying based on the role and business need, extending potentially through the end of March 2021. Candidates are encouraged to apply for full time opportunities after eleven weeks.

 

Pay: Starting at $20/hr.

 

Desired Qualifications: 4-year university degree preferred, or equivalent experience can be substituted for education.

 

Key Skills: Ability to work in a team setting. Ability to follow training guides and videos to complete work independently. Basic math and computation skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to compare financial and customer data across systems. Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone.

 

Location: Caterpillar Financial headquarters at 2120 West End Ave, Nashville TN 37203. Remote work capabilities are available and will be utilized as business needs and the current public health situation require.

 

Job Roles:

 

Position: Customer Accounts Specialist     

  • Support various accounts receivable management functions
  • Coordinates timely resolution of customer service issues on past due accounts
  • Collects delinquent active contracts through telephone contact
  • May authorize and conduct equipment repossessions

 

Position: Customer Relations Representative

  • Support various portfolio management efforts
  • Responds to customer inquiries and general customer issues
  • Answers general payment questions and provide credit references
  • May calculate interest paid and loan balance confirmations
  • Identify contract booking errors and issue copies of documents
  • May perform general account maintenance and make outbound calls to verify customer information
