Caterpillar has a unique opportunity for a AV Specialist through DVA Consulting at the Tinaja Hills Demonstration and Learning Center (THDLC).

This campus sits on 6,500 acres nestled in the Tinaja Peaks mountain range in Green Valley, Arizona. Established in 1990, the THDLC is dedicated to providing a world-class customer experience through training to our customers, dealers, and internal business partners on new Cat Products, Heavy Equipment Safety, Product Application, Operator and Supervisor Training, Service Technician Training, as well as maintenance and repair to the heavy equipment, just to name a few. In addition to training, THDLC also offers Product and Industry Demonstrations, tours, as well as receptions for large programs that typically end with our Desert Night Lights Demo - filled with Cat machines, fireworks, and lasers. 

With 5,720 average visitors annually, Tinaja continues to exceed the expectations of our customers, dealers, internal business partners, and the general public in all that we do.

Audio Video Specialist provides continuous support for all audio video services. Duties include facilitating the ongoing needs of a global training and educational conferencing center. Which includes the design, installation, maintenance, repair and hosting of audio/visual conferencing and live video streaming. Applicant must have experience in videography and video streaming of audio/visual meetings in various formats. Candidate will possess good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the customers, dealers and internal business partners utilizing the services of the facility. Five (5) years professional video work experience producing video for professional clients for classroom distribution, television, or streaming, and in some cases, marketing or narrative work is required.

 

  • Responsible for the support, installation, configuration, design and maintenance of all A/V and network technologies
  • Design, setup and provide ongoing support for all audio, video, and lighting for facility
  • Experience working on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Facilitate high quality videos for online presentation
  • Conceive and develop creative solutions for addressing digital initiatives through audio-visual assets
  • Produce, edit and distribute media content as required which may include photographs, videos, motion graphics, animation, audio and music
  • Execute shoots on site/on location including lighting, audio, camera operation
  • Additionally, handle assignments requiring special lighting, multiple locations, creativity, special audio needs, custom graphics, and animation.
  • Maintain all equipment including troubleshooting and minor repairs as necessary
  • Basic level IT skillset
  • Capable of supporting the live AV production needed for product demonstrations
  • Programming experience with Crestron, AMX or other systems is preferred
